As Long Beach gears up for its 42nd annual pride festival, newly independent Hotel Maya in Long Beach and its onsite waterfront Latin-inspired restaurant Fuego, are celebrating all weekend long with festivities like their Pride Drag Brunch and their Slay & Stay: A Prideful Getaway room package.

Pride Drag Brunch

Fuego is kicking off the weekend with a Pride Drag Brunch on Saturday, May 17th from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, and has teamed up with Cono Club and owner Eli Aryeh for exhilarating shows featuring queens such as Roxy DelValleMiz TonzRainy Dayz and Audacious T. Onixxx. While queens serve along the stunning waterfront, guests can be served up brunch bites from Executive Chef Luis Torres’ newly launched brunch menu, such as Soy Glazed Wild Mushroom Tacos, Pork Belly Tacos, Steak Arrachera and Eggs, Masa Buttermilk Pancakes and Thick Cut French Toast. Guests can expect iconic beats spun by Dj Krizm while tequila tastings of Bandero Blanco will be poured by Bandero Tequila–the latest venture from John Paul DeJoria–legendary founder of Patron. While the event is free to attend, a brunch reservation is required to guarantee seating for the show. Reservations can be made for May 17 via OpenTable.

Slay & Stay: A Prideful Getaway room package

Those looking to turn their weekend into a staycation and celebrate Pride festivities in Long Beach can book the Slay & Stay: A Prideful Getaway package, offered Thursday, May 15 through Monday, May 19. Starting at $239+tax per night, the package includes overnight accommodations with either vibrant garden or oceanline views, a $50 food & beverage credit to onsite waterfront restaurant Fuego, complimentary overnight self-parking and a festive Pride Party Essentials Kit.
